BIO:
Matt DiVenti is a singer/songwriter who has been performing in the Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia area for over 15 years. Whether accompanied by a full band or only his guitar, Matt puts on a show that transports you to a bonfire a stone’s throw from the Jersey boardwalk. He has become a regular entertainer at local wineries, breweries, and bars, and he’s sung to audiences at events ranging from pre-game parties at the Phillies stadium to summer folk festivals.
It’s out of his diverse live experience that Matt drew inspiration for his first full-band studio album, Get Along. Like Matt’s live shows, Get Along is a journey that lifts the spirits and leaves you feeling proud to fight the good fight. Listener’s will hear influences from writers of feel-good classics, like Jack Johnson, Gin Blossoms, and George Harrison. The longtime crowd favorite “Pray”, which Matt typically performs acoustically live, receives a bouncy reggae-style treatment on the album’s hope-filled opener. Brand new songs, like the front porch anthem “Sweet Spot”, do what Matt does best: help you slow down and appreciate the good moments in a bad news world.
